Physics Building

Established in 1948, the institute runs degree courses in the subjects of Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Physics and Electronics. It boasts of seven well equipped, spacious laboratories. The Institute houses a Botany Museum which is perhaps one of its kind in Gujarat. There are huge lecture theaters in the institute. The buildings of the institute is an architectural wonder and a pleasure to withhold, with beautiful arches and wood work. The building is surrounded with greenery with huge trees as old as college times.

On the ground floor of this building there are two laboratories, 5 lecture rooms, one research lab., 3 staff rooms and a store.

The first floor of the building houses the lecture rooms and labs. of detp.of Botany, Zoology and Microbiology. Along with these, there are staff rooms, Herbarium room, one museum and rooms of the HODs.

The Dept. of Microbiology has two labs, one preparation room , one staff room, a library, HODs room , innoculation room, theatre and staff room.
